Resolutions of the German Medical Association on rehabilitations
At this year's German Medical Association (Deutscher Ärztetag) in Mainz, two motions on rehabilitation were passed. Motion Ic-05 called for mobile, cross-indication rehabilitation for non-geriatric patients as well. This further development is necessary in order to close the rehabilitative care gap for younger people with persistent complex injuries, significant impairments to participation and a need for care. Proposal Ic-11 called for early rehabilitation in all hospitals that treat complex cases in order to be able to start the rehabilitation chain seamlessly and as early as possible in the acute hospital. The German Medical Association (Deutscher Ärztetag) 2025 will take place in Leipzig.
